Kísérleteinkben a szakértelem, az emocionalitás, és az öregedés szerepét vizsgáltuk a döntéselőkészítő, információkereső, információgyűjtő folyamatokban. Legfontosabb eredményeink a következők: 1. A különböző kísérleti feladatok közötti különbözőségek gyakorolják a legerősebb hatást az információkereső folyamatokra. Az érzelmileg szegényes szituációkban az életkori különbségek bizonyultak a legfontosabbaknak, a politikai szituációkban (nagyobb emocionalitás) a fiatalok között a szélsőségesség szintje befolyásolja erősen a folyamatot. 2. A politikai szituációkban történő kérdezősködés több információt igényel. Ezekben a feladatokban a kísérleti személyek inkább az opciók közötti összehasonlításokra, mint valamelyik opció alapos kidolgozására törekednek. 3. Jelentős különbség van a fiatalok és öregek által beszerzett információk mennyisége között, a fiataloké a több. 4. A mérsékelt személyek kérdései politikai feladatokban egzaktabbak, mint a szélsőségesekéi. | In our experiments the role of expertise, emotionality (political extremism) and ageing was investigated in information seeking and information gathering processes preparing decision making. The most important findings are the following: 1. The most significant affects on the information seeking processes was produced by the thematic differences between the thematic subjects of the different experimental tasks. In the emotionally poor situations the age differences were more deterministic, in political situation (high emotionality) the level of extremism highly impinges the process among youngsters. 2. The questioning in political situations need more informations than in non-political ones. In these tasks the subjects prefer to strive for comparing the different options to thorough elaborating one of them. 3. There are high differences between the amount of informations obtained by youngsters and older people. The younger is higher. 4. The moderated persons? had more exact questions in political tasks than the extremits.
