A kutatás eredményeképpen 10 közlemény jelent meg. Ezek részben konferencia-kiadványok, részben szöveggyűjteményt is tartalmazó gyűjteményes kötetek. A kutatás eredményeit a legalaposabban az Uralkodó és polgár antik tükörben I-II. című kötet bevezetése foglalja össze. Feltárja az intelmek-irodalom teljes antik történetét, rámutat arra, hogy az intelmek-irodalom az antik irodalom egyik legfontosabb műfaja, amely közvetlenül termékenyítette meg a középkori és az újkori fejedelemtükör-, illetve polgári politikai-filozófiai irodalmat. Az ókori Közel-Kelet civilizációiban ugyanúgy megtalálható ez a műfaj, mint a görög és római irodalomban. Hatása a magyarországi kultúrára egyaránt nyomon kísérhető a bizánci görög irodalmon, és a nyugati, a latin nyelvű irodalmon keresztül, egészen a magyarországi latin irodalomra gyakorolt hatásig (Szent István-i Intelmek). Számos mű először ebben a kötetben kerül kézbe magyar nyelven, például Philodémos, Plutarchos, Iulianus egy-egy műve, illetve egy bő válogatás a görög nyelvű levélregényekből. A részben idegen nyelvű konferencia-kiadványok hozzájárulnak a nemzetközi együttműködéshez, a polgári erkölcsi értékek és hagyományok elevenen tartásához, és erősítik a tudományos műhelyek közötti együttműködést. A kutatás vezetője ennek jegyében a Szent István-i Intelmek bevezetővel és részletes kritikai apparátussal ellátott latin-francia bilingvis kiadásáért a limoges-i egyetem díszdoktori címét fogja megkapni. | As a result of the research 10 publications have been issued. These are partly proceedings of conferences, partly volumes of essays including a chrestomathy as well. The achievements of research were summarized in the introduction of the volume titled Prince and Civilian in an Antique Mirror I-II. It explains the antique history of "admonitions-literature", and points out the fact that this is one of the most important genres of antique literature, which directly enriched the medieval and modern literature of ?prince mirrors? and the political-philosophical literature. This genre can be found in the civilizations of ancient Middle East just as in Greek and Roman literature. Its impact on Hungarian culture can be traced through Byzantine Greek literature and western Latin literature, until its influence to the Latin literature in Hungary (The Admonitions of Saint Stephen). Many of the works in the volume will be published in Hungarian for the first time, e.g. a writing of Philodemos, Plutarch and Iulianus each, and a wide selection from Greek epistolary novels. The proceedings of conferences issued partly in foreign language help sustain civil moral values and contribute to the international cooperation between scholarly teams. In terms of this, the University of Limoges will confer an honorary degree on the head of research for the Latin-French bilingual publication of The Admonitions of Saint Stephen with an introduction and a critical apparatus.
